The Passion behind My Work
I was introduced to alternative healing early in life, and it’s something I’ve always been drawn to. In 2001, I became licensed as a massage therapist and learned many different healing modalities. Since then I have worked with chiropractors, and built up a busy private practice. I have taught at massage schools, and become an instructor for both Touch for Health and GEMS. I love teaching and sharing what I have learned.
My two favorite quotes are:
No one can make you feel inferior without your own consent. –Eleanor Roosevelt
and one I have tweaked for myself –
There is NO Person, Place, Thing or Event that can knock you out of your Joy! – when you are balanced to life!!! (I got it off FB somewhere.)
These quotes have become my mottos or mantras. I have started to know when I am out of sync with life and need to be balanced. I believe that as we balance and heal our mind, body and spirit we are healthier, happier, more joyful, content, and kind. And when we are in that healthy space, I feel, we can truly live a life of passion, joy, freedom, love and kindness. That is why I have a passion for this work. It has changed my life, the lives of my friends and family, and clients. That is why I feel it is necessary to share, to help people realize there are options out there to help them get thru their pain; be it emotional, mental, physical or spiritual. I recently moved from Utah to Virginia with my husband. Enjoy the Moment!
Why I Wanted to be a Meridian360 Site Captain
I have known for some time that there needed to be an organized education model for Energy Kinesiology. I am excited to be a part of this new model bringing Energy Kinesiology into communities that are seeking and ready for a more holistic, energetic way of understanding our health. I am eager to see a standardized program easily attainable for people desiring to become EK practitioners. I enjoy teaching and sharing what I have learned in this amazing field. I especially love seeing new practitioners grow and having success in their practices. I am excited to be a part of this program.
